You should seek urgent care if you need to see a medical provider urgently but can’t get an appointment with your doctor. You might also need urgent care if you can’t see your primary doctor because it’s after hours, on a holiday, or you don’t have a primary doctor.
Luckily IHNC offers both primary care and urgent care services so you can get treated however needed.
Emergency rooms handle life-threatening emergencies with long wait times and higher costs, while urgent care is for non-life-threatening situations needing quicker attention and lower costs. Think ER for critical issues like chest pain or head injuries, and urgent care for illnesses like ear infections or minor cuts.
Yes! IHNC offers a Financial Assistance Program for qualifying patients who need help paying for urgent, emergent, or medically necessary care received at our clinic. To be eligible, patients must have a family income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level and receive medically necessary services as determined by an IHNC provider.
